How do I find people on facebook?

Question

I met this guy on a train, we never exchanged contact details, but i know he has facebook. I just know his first name so end up with over 500 results or something. if i know his age and some other stuff about him does anyone know if its possible to find him? I don't think he's part of his Schools network, as i've already tried that.

Well, it depends on what other stuff you know about him.

Unfortunately, you might just have to spend a while searching through all of those results.
