How do I find someone who fixes small electric items.?

I have two small christmas decorations ( elves with fishing poles) that the motors need to be replaced. these have great sentimental value to me. They were my daughters favorite and she died last year. when I was a kid there was someone in every neighborhood. my mom refered to them as a tinker.

Go to the Electic Shoap and called one electician your problem will be solved

I doubt anyone does this.  Sorry, but today most Christmas decorations are disposable. Wayyyy too costly to find parts to repair, and some can't be.
