How do I find someone who is in the army?

My friend joined the army when we got out of high school. Then his parents moved away. I really want to talk to him. Anyone know how to do that? I looked him and his mom up on yellowpages.com without any luck. I'd be happy with an e-mail, adress, phone number- anything to get ahold of him. I know his full name and his age, that's all.

  1. u dont, they find u

  2. Google his/her name

  3. Send a letter and a check or money order for $3.50 made out to "U.S. Treasury" to the below address. Include his name and any other details. It will take about four weeks for them to respond with his mailing address:

    Commander

U.S. Army Enlisted Record & Evaluation Center

    Attn: Locator

    8899 East 56th St.

    Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN 46249-5301

The source below is the link to the various addresses one can write to in order to get the mailing address of anyone on active duty in the military. I pass it on for all the people who have been giving the wrong information.

  4. Due to privacy and security  issues, the military will not allow ordinary people to track down their members, even if you have their full name.  What a "deal" for terrorists if people could do this.

My suggestion is to continue to track down his mother, and if that doesn't work, then mail a letter to him, at his last known address.

If he submitted a change of address with the post office, then his mail will be forwarded to either his mother, or his new military address.

  5. This might be of help.

  6. you can go to military.com

if you make an account you can locate military members. it may be helpful... i'm not sure if you need to be DoD or family member or what but maybe it could help.  if his name is tom smith it may be pretty hard to find the right one.

but if you know his name and stuff, maybe he has a facebook or myspace or something.
