  1. Call South Dakota State University, it has a large ag program

an probably people with the degrees you seek,

  2. why dont  u make use of media, if u r providing excellent opportunity.

advertise all over to recruit the best

  3. Contact the Crop Science Society of America. They publish the Crop Science journal every two months.  They run positions available in each journal and will run your employment details.  They also run a section for people seeking a position and their qualifications that you can look over as well.  They are a section of the Agronomy Science Society of America which has a similar journal in a little broader field, that you might check as well.

  4. Hi,

Is this a request for advice or really an ad? LOL

    You said RECENT graduate?

Oh well that excludes me!  SOL

I assume the company you are refering to is Monsanto.

I have several friends work there.

My colleagues and I used Science Magazine Online to search and place ads.

Since you are a Staffing Co. "head hunter",

Some applicants might shy away for various reasons,

would rather respond directly with the employer.

Internet advertisement should work very well for you.

This particular Yahoo site might not be your best option.

Only a handful of professional and quasi-professorial people viewing here.

Many school kids and regular folk.

Can sometimes be like the bus station restroom wall.

    for entertainment purposes etc.

    I recommend Monster.Com

    covers most of the US.

California Biotech people like to use this site.

I just now checked the St. Louis area.

    There are several ads there,

both from companies and staffing agencies.

In addition to what you stated above,

I assume you are looking for someone with:

BS or MS plus 2-5 years of experience.

Most companies don't want to hire alot of Ph.D.,

to save money and not throw off the Indian to chief ratio.

Please clearly state citizenship or working visa requirements.

Otherwise everyone from India, China and Taiwan will be applying.

The term "IT", if it's "Bioinformatics" use that term too.

    possibly "genome mapping".

Since the employer is in St. Louis,

and you are targeting BS level,

Scout that area of the country.

Some companies in Midwest prefer home-grown employees

and shy away from West and East coast.

    Because they adjust better etc.

    Best Wishes

  5. Try some professional societies.  Most of them publish job postings in their monthly newsletters.  I know the American Society for Horticulture Science (ASHS.org) and AABGA (PublicGardens.org) do.

  6. Here I am, tell me more.
