How do I find the 'search my computer' icon?

in the bottom left corner of screen, click on "start" key..then position your cursor over search. a list should pop up on the right side of the start menu. position your cursor over "find files or folders". a "search" screen should pop up. on the left side of the screen that pops up type what you are searching for and select from the dropdown box where you want to look for whatever it is you are looking for...
