I'm moving to Nashua NH and I need to make it to Concord the next day.

I can't find a site what so ever that lets me know what time the train goes from Nashua to Concord.

I know that the "Concord Railroad" goes back and forth from there..

can someone help me out? I don't have time to figure it out when I get there. :(

  1. I don't think there are any trains in that area. The only trains in NH are in the eastern part, around Dover.

edit, I rechecked with Amtrak, and there is nothing.

  2. You're both correct.

There is a train (which is what you see on the maps), but it's freight-only these days.

Amtrak does offer bus service between Boston and Concord, if that's of any interest.

Here's what I found on the Internet when I googled "Concord Railroad":

The last Boston & Maine passenger train to run on the line was in 1967, but passenger trains returned in 1980 when the State of New Hampshire attempted running commuter trains out of Boston to Concord, N.H. This experiment lasted exactly one year. In 1982, the New England Southern was started out of Concord serving industries north of the city. In 1983 the Boston & Maine was purchased by Guilford Rail System. Two years later, the New England Southern gained trackage rights from Concord down to Manchester. The old Concord Railroad is still frequently used by Guilford, which hauls coal up to the Bow power plant, which is located just south of Concord. Industries between Nashua and Manchester are served by the Nashua local. The Concord makes up most of Guilford's New Hampshire main line.
