I just found in my basement a 1970 hand painted made in Italy MD State bird (Oriole) bottle of Creme de Menth at 60% Proof bottled in France by Garnier Liquers. It is unopened and it still has liqueur in it. The bottle is in mint condition with MD tax label still attached and it also has the distributor's gold sticker on the tail and wing of the bird. Distributed in NY by Julius Wile and Sons. Cork is sealed with untampered sticker with serial # 3653161. The bird is hand painted in black and orange with blue legs perched on a tree branch. It is colourful with green leaves and brown tree trunk as the base. It says "Baltimore Oriole" on a white plaque at base. The bottom of it says, "State Bird of Maryland" Modele Exclusif N269 ANNEE 1970. GARNIER LIQUEURS ENGHIEN FRANCE MADE IN ITALY.
