ok, I have a problem with a rectangular object that has a length of 16, a height of 20, and a volume of 2000 cubic inches. I need to find the width but I don't know how... I tried but I REALLY messed up so can someone give me a walkthrough please?

  1. length x width x height = volume.

    so 16 x 20 = 340.

    340x=2000

    (x is the width)

    340x = 2000

    divide both sides by 340

    x=5.88235294117...

  2. Volume = Length * Height * Width

    2000 = 16(20)W

    Solve for W
