How do I find the wires behind the wall ?

I have my house pre-wired for surround sound system. I didn't buy that option when I bought the house.

I'm trying to install it myself. I have located the point where all the five wires are hook for the source from receiver. I can see the wires running from the attic. Because of the insulation I can't locate where exactly the terminal for these wire at the four corners of my living room. I tried the wire tracer from lowes and couldn't locate the wires behind the wall. They all need both end of the wire, in my case I'm trying to locate the other end of the wire.

Any thoughts ?

Sound like you will have to make a hole in the plasterboard and dig a round till you find the wire. They are so thin that they won't register unless you have an especially sensitive metal detector. Too much to hope that there is any documentation with the propert showing the locations? (or any friendly neighbours who did have the option put in on similiar designed houses to yours).
