It should be on the data plate affixed by the maker.

use model #  give info and I will look it up for you omc used model # designations on all transom bracket assy's  engines and drives, that determines model year. ps all stern drives mercruiser,omc,volvo do NOT necessarily follow the boats year of manufacture ie you could have a 1996 boat with a 95,96, or 97 power package depends on oem stock and availability
