How do I find unused cemetary plots, my family purchased in Dallas, Texas in the 1950 era.?

  1. Many of the large Dallas cemeteries are not surveyed, and not online. If you can verify some names, it may be possible to confirm which cemetery they are actually buried in (perhaps using the death certificates).

    I live in the Dallas area.. send me a note through my profile, with names and dates of family members, and I will see what I can find for you.

    The city/county does not own the cemeteries, so that won't be a help.


  2. county or city records(?) that are available in the county office.  Then maybe once you know who owns the land, you can narrow it down to the seller and figure out which plots were purchased by your family.
