Its only a 10 foot by 30 inch pool but for the life of me I can not figure out where the hole is....all I know is I fill it and by morning it is half empty again.

  1. waiting to see how far the water goes down to will give you a clue...a few more tips here: http://www.swimming-pool-information.com...

  2. Well if it is an above ground type pool, there are actually people that will come and find it for you. They use a special devise that detects where the leak is.

If is is a blow up type pool, you should be able to see tiny bubbles where the hole is.

  3. well the best place to start is trying to find where you see standing water on the outside the pool. that will give you a good place to start looking on the inside. once you see where the water is start looking on the inside at that spot. i use the phenol red in pH kits to find the leaks. you'll have to hold your breath and start diving so some goggles would help. just start looking around under water for any noticeable tears or rips and test it with the red dye. if water is leaking from there it will suck the dye through. them all you have to do is patch with an above ground pool liner repair kit, that you can find at any pool supply store.
