Question

Okay, so i have this Cassete for VCR or VHS or whatever you call it. I want to show it to my cuzin by computer via email. The T.V. and computer are too far away from eachother so i cant even use my cam. Is there like and cord that i can plug the VCR to the computer with or anything?

Anybaody have ideas i can use?

sorry buddy but i think the only way and best way would be to convert your VHS to DVD and there are ways then just download it to you PC and send it to him via email.

There are many challenges to your problem

a) Your PC needs to have a Video capture card - No video capture card  = no video in your PC - stop there

b) Assuming you have a card, I don't see why you can't move the VCR next to the PC. It is not that heavy!

Yes, you can buy a long composite cable, but there is no reason!

c) Most servers will not accept attachments more than 5-15 Mbytes - which means a few minutes of video.  If you plan to send a half-an hour video over e-mail is not going to happen.

So, my suggestion is to mail the tape to your cousin. Cheap and simple.
