How do I fix a blue line on my Hitachi HD tv

I have a line going vertically from the top of my tv to near the bottom. I think one of my nieces may have hit the tv or something. It tries to fade in with the rest of the color on the screen but you can definitely tell that there is something wrong with the color in that spot. How do I fix this problem?

Hitting a tv will not cause this kind of problem. Please don't blame your nieces. There is a problem with one of the video boards in your tv. You need to take it in and have them take a look at it, hopefully it is still under warranty.
