How do I fix an RCA tv with no picture showing at all?

The other morning while my husband was watching tv it just shut off on him. Now every time we turn it on there is no picture. We cant seem to figure out what is wrong with it.

  1. Is it set to the correct input? Is there power going to the set? If the answer is yes to either of these then you have to call a serviceman.
