What is the process to correct an overstay of a tourist visa in Peru? What fines are involved? What happens after a person leaves Peru after an overstay? Can they get back in?

The penalty is 1 usd dollar for every day you are ilegal in Peru,365 usd for every year.If you dont pay you will be held in detention untill you pay.

If you are deported you will have problem to enter for a while, but that depends why you have overstay your visa.
