How do I fix my DVD player if its front display is no longer working?

The model number is RDR-GX300. The display on the front panel went out one day and I have no idea why. It is a recordable DVD player if you were wondering.

  1. Very unlikely that you could fix it yourself. Is it within its warranty period? If it is, call Sony and have them repair it.
