How do I fix my PS3 DNS error?

OMG I have tried just about everything to fix this problem on my PS3! I really wanna play. I payed $615.00 for this d**n PS3 and it wont even work right! I went to network settings, then to Internet Connection Settings and then i fixed everything but when I tested my connection....

IT FAILED ON INTERNET CONNECTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What should I do???

My ISP is AT&T but I cant find their number...if you had this problem before and solved it by calling your ISP could you please tell me the number you used oh and make sure that your ISP is AT&T...

PLEAS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really need to elaborate on exactly what you are doing in the settings, there are a number of things you could be doing wrong :s

I would need to know more about how you're trying to connect your PS3 to the internet to have an idea why you're having DNS problems.  Wired, wireless, attached directly to the dsl modem or through an external router etc.
