How do I fix my RCA ANT TV connection?....?

I have a RCA F25422 TV. It worked fine when my sister had it hooked up to her cable and suddenly it just stop working. She stop using it for a while and got a new TV.

However, I believe it just needs a slight fix. When I hooked up my PS2 to it recently using a RF modulator on channel 3, the picture of the game is there but its black and white and snow is on it with static sound.

I tested the modulator and the PS2 on other TV's in my house to make sure they work and they do. Also I have changed the TV and modulator's channels to channel 4 but that doesn't work.

I believe its the TV ANT connection on the back of the TV.

Right or Wrong, How do I fix this without taking it to the shop.

It would be much appreciated....

  1. I think You are right, it might doesn't isolate a connector TVANT.

Try to fix it by get inside (the connector), it should be one

metal wire into isolated around another wire. Maybe you

    have no isolation.

  2. If you are Very Carefull, you can take that TV Apart, and mess with the TV Antenna Connection on the Back.

But I must warn you!! DO NOT TOUCH THE BACK LEADS OF THE TUBE!!!! YOU WILL GET ELECTRICUTED, AND FLY ACROSS THE ROOM A FEW FEET!!

Be aware that the Tube is NOT ONLY a HUGE Capacitor of Electricity, but Also a Huge Vacuum Tube. If you DID drop the TV, and its a Tube, then it would INPLODE, and make a BIG MESS of Explosive-Proportions!! <:P
