I broke my nose about 5 years ago and it hasn't been the same since. it is kind of crooked and I don't feel I am getting enough air through my nose. It has really effected my stamina seeing as how I can't breathe through my nose as well.

At this point I need to know what is supposed to be done about fixing it.

  1. you need a saw and an axe!

  2. Sounds like you have a deviated septum, and you need to see an ENT (ear, nose, and throat doctor) to find out about getting a septoplasty, which is basically where they break your septum and straighten it out.

  3. Yep--  I agree with wideawake-  and maybe insurance will cover plastic surgery if it was broken and you can't breathe well- call your Dr- make an appt and go from there. You'll be all new again.  Not being able to breathe- right- well- you can't continue on in life like that- it would be like me having my asthma 24-7  no thanks.

Good luck. Don't wait.  We all enjoy breathing!!!!!!
