How do I fix my cable quality?

I just got a new Samsung 32" 720p LCD HDTV a week ago, and the quality on my cable is horrible. Everything is enhanced while I'm playing video games, but it's kinda bad when I'm watching cable. Everything looks slightly smudged.

YOU can't fix it. It's an issue between you and your cable provider. This assumes you are using component or HDMI cables, and that they are correctly hooked up.

I suspect that you have standard cable service. if so, and you want high quality TV reception, you'll have to pony up a few extra bucks a month and get HD service to take advantage of your HDTV!
