How do I fix my directv HD DVR box?

Sometimes when I record shows and try to watch it later, it won't play. This is what happens.

I click the show I want to watch, then I click play on the following menu. At the top the screen says how long the show is. But immediately after, the "finished watching" box comes up and wants me to either delete or delete later. This box always comes up when I am at the end of a show, so I think something is wrong. Lately more and more shows have done this right after I click play. Usually that would happen if I had clicked resume if I had already watched the show, but these shows haven't been watched before. Can someone help me???

If it happens very often then try formating the box(resetting it) if it still does this then contact your service provider and let them know if it keeps happening and request a new box.

Contact Directv they maybe able to send you an update to that receiver.

Also was this just recently? Can you click on Record and able to record?
