My belkin wireless G+ adapter device was working on my computer (windows vista) with no problems, now it isn't; i didn't do anything to it. How do i fix it? I've tried reinstalling it, 'repairing' it, and the 'help' service on the computer doesn't give a clear answer and nothing seems to work. What's wrong with it?

  1. I'm sure you've thought of this but maybe give geek squad a call. If its something you need to pay to fix i would go somewhere other than the geek squad. They're generally way overpriced. Try looking up computer repair shops in the phone book. (i know you probably already thought about this though)

  2. Open your device manager, right click the hardware and uninstall it, remove the adapter from your computer and reboot, when computer has rebooted plug it in and re-install the drivers.

If this doesn't work as above try changing the channel on the router.

  3. Two reasons that happen all the time:

    1.  It is bad.

    2. Interference from a neighbor who just installed a wireless router.

Change the channel on the router.  Your adapter will adjust automatically.

  4. i have the same one.. i ended up calling the company and they guy gave me Step-by-step instructions!!!! it works peeeeeeeeeeerfectly now!
