How do I fix the Opera Wii Problem in the settings menu on my wii?

My Wii the Japanese version, I got Super smash bros in the United States. When it updated the wii system, I couldnt access the Wii settings menu. There is this wierd screen that pops up. Does anyone know how to fix this?

All I know is that the Wii is region coded, so you cant play a US game on a Japanese system.
