How do I fix the carburetor on a 1983 chevy pickup?

The truck is not getting gas to the carburetor

if its not getting gas to the carb it may be that you need a new fuel pump check that out first.

the fuel pump, filter which there should be 3 of--- 1 in the tank 1 under the passenger side of the truck n the frame rail and one at or in the carb itself..... check them before you buy a 300.00 carb.....
