Hi, my BMX gooseneck (the bar connecting the handlebars to the fork) is loose and i don't know how to tighten it.

So whenever I steer the handlebars, the wheel doesn't turn

please give me your best answer, don't just say "take it to a shop"

Thanks

  1. it really depends on the bike, there might be a large nut that goes around the part of the fork that goes through the frame, or there may be a alan bolt that is at the top of the steerer tube.

  2. first of all the "gooseneck" is called a headset and yea there are two types are headsets one has a bolt that goes from the top of it to the inside of the fork and the other is on the side of the headset and is usually an allen bolt either way just tighten them
