Question:

How do I fix the rotating cord on my venetian blinds?

For some reason, I cannot get my blinds to shut anymore. The rotating cord that allows you to open/close the blinds makes a noise when I try to rotate it clockwise but sounds fine when rotating it counter-clockwise. In order for the blinds to completely shut, I have to pull the strings that attach to the plastic strips that make up the blinds. I'm sorry, I know nothing about blinds, so I don't know the terms. Any suggestions would be fantastic!!!

  1. Try and see if anything is "jamming" it and causing it to make that noise. Also make sure the blind isn't getting caught anywhere. If with all of this you don't see any visible signs, it might be time for new blinds. Sorry! Hope that helps you out!
