How do I fix the sound on my computer?

Question

When I go to volime control it tells me.."No Active mixer devices".

It tells me to install them. I've tried with no luck.

Anyone know what this means and how to do it?

hey sweety,,go to your control panel and where it says sounds and open that up and see if it can help you there,, i had that happen before and mine was on mute..but i dont know whats wrong with yours so it may be something else,,check your wires to if you have external speakers,,or you can go to help and support,, that always gives me insight on what to do.. good luck honey,,i.l.y.
