I just got a laptop with 64-bit Home premium Vista. I am thrying to make back-up files but I cant because theres not enough space on the D: drive recovery. It says its using 11.2 GB and only free 453 mb. I look inside the drive though and there is only a maxium of 1.4 GB being used. What am I missing?

  1. You shouldn't back up on the recovery drive. It's best to use another storage media such as an external hard drive, DVD, or CD. The recovery drive is mainly a system restore like the CD companies used to give users with their new systems.

  2. who knows man
