How do I fly my belongings to abu dhabi in a timely fashion, not too expensive and reliable?

Would like for my stuff to arrive there the end of July and plan on shipping it mid July.

Anything that goes by air is going to cost you.  By sea is cheaper, but takes time.  Call Fed Ex or call one of the airlines and see if they do freight.

From where are you flying and what volume. If it is a few suitcases of personal luggage then your airline can fly it as cargo - you need to make arrangements with them for temporary storage. If it is  a lot of luggage then try a freight agent - I know that FSL (Freight Systems Limited) operate in Dubai and have their offices in some major cities around the world.
