I think it's boring.

The election for president is coming up and really, I don't plan to vote.

  1. Think of it as sport.

but in this game your very future maybe even life itself is at stake.

There are 2 teams each one represents a different future for you. You need to determine which team you want to support. Remember they lie too.

Will they raise or lower your taxes?

Will they improve or destroy the economy?

Will they protect or weaken the country?

Will they they drill for oil or save the planet?

You then pick your team and call the others names. But you are allowed to switch at anytime.

There will be many games played and each one can come out of nowhere and be upon your team or the others in a flash of headlines.

Then on Superbowl Game day you will be on pins and needles as you watch the score board until that final score comes in. At which point you will be on top of the world or down in the dumps.

This has been one of the best seasons ever played and the match ups and turnovers incredible.

  2. These days all you have to do is balance your checkbook.

  3. Most people get involved in politics because an issue directly affects them. Think about issues that are important to you... maybe the economy, gas prices, the war, or even local issues. Start reading up on them and figure out what candidate support your views. Remember if you don't vote, you give up your voice. Make sure you register!!!

  4. Ehh maybe you'll get into it the older you get.  When you start realizing that the policies presidents inact effect the way you live your life or jeopardize the future of your country, you start to pay attention.

  5. Get a job and then pay taxes.

Then see people take YOUR money and do stupid things.

  6. Alright... here's what you do....

Set up the place where you watch tv with the following items....

    1. a candle (lit and burning)

    2. a bowl full of your favorite candy/snack food

Now.... turn on the tv to all the news/politics shows.

When you watch something political, eat some candy.

When you see something NON-political (commercials, other stories, etc.) hold your hand over the candle flame until it starts to REALLY HURT!

It's called conditioning.  Should work.  Worked with me!  I just LOVE politics... even if I am FAT and 1-handed!!!!!!! LMFAO!!!

    Have a right-wing day.

  7. apathy breeds tryanny

  8. Just know this...If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.
