How do I format a mini SD card?

I have a mini SD card from my phone that I would like to format and remove all items from. I cannot delete because I am getting an error:

Cannot delete folder eopu: access denied

make sure youre mobile device has sufficient memory, that the file is not set as read-only, and that you have permissions to copy this file type.

I have hooked my phone up to the computer to try and remove all items from the memory and its not working.

Suggestions?

  1. Open up My Computer, right click on the drive, and select format.
