How do I format an SD Card?

Oh no, my SD card has been corrupted. It had data on it from a brand new Polaroid camcorder. It put it in my Vcam to see if it would work. Guess what, it didn't. I found out when I put it in the Wii. I went to Photo Channel. It said the SD was corrupted and needed to be formated. My mom is going to be so mad if I don't fix it. Its a 2.0GB SD card. Help please. How do I format it?!

put the card in the camera, get to the camera's menu, locate and execute the "Format" command.
