How do I format my PS3 hard drive?

I don't know how to format any Playstation Systems...

  1. in the main menu screen go over to the system drop down menu and it will be in one of the options in the bottom to restore the ps3 to factory specs and format everything.


  2. Settings > System Settings > Format Utility > Format Hard Disk

    Doing this will delete all your data, including all game saves. Back up what you want to save before proceeding.
