How do I fully restore my Dell Inspiron 2200?

I'm having problems with viruses, adware, and trojans, so I need to restore my computer to factory settings. I already backed my files on 2 flash drives. If anyone can help me that would be great. If possible, I need detailed instructions, I'm not too good with computers. And I have the software and Windows XP CD's ready to install after I restore the computer. Thanks in advance!

all you have to do is to insert windows xp cd and boot from cd. then xp setup will start when you go on it will ask if for partition you are going to install windows. delete all the partitions and then create new partitions as your required size then install windows on C partition and format it with fat 32 or NTFS for high security then go on with the remaining installation. when installation is finished check if all your sound and vga works. if not then use the driver cd of dell to install drivers. now you are done
