My friends are really outgoing and they like to go out to party's and dance ...but I always turn down their invitation. I never went to any school dances not even my prom...because I never danced a day in my life. Now they all want to go out to a club for our friends 18th birthday. and I already said I wasn't going because I don't dance and they all do, so I don't want to just go and stand around all night while they're dancing, and I also don't want them to ruin their nights by worrying about me being bored the whole night.

I think they kinda get mad at me for not being so outgoing....So how to I push myself to do things...I really want to be an outgoing bubbly person...how do I do it?.

I don't want to grow up and look back on my life and think how boring it was because I was too scared to try new things.

  1. Build it up doing small things such as, relying on your self to do something. Then grow it until you have enough self confidence to do whatever you want to.

  2. If you want to dance play music at home on your own and muck around, maybe some dance lessons will help.  Ask one of your Friends to show you how to dance,  but if you don't want to dance believe me you won't dance.

  3. It's all in Desiderata - google it. When you have done that pick up courage & join a dancing class or club and learn with other beginners. Don't end up like I did - totally fanatical 7 day a week & not wanting anything other than to dance! Best wishes. UK
