How do I get 360 waves?

My hair is afro 'n' textured and fairly wavy but I want the 360 waves how do I get them?

Have you tried using curlers, straighteners, getting a perm (get advice first tho), mousse and scrunching your hair or getting more layers where the hair isn't as curly? :D xx
