Question:

How do I get Java working with Opera?

I'm sure it can be done because there are instructions all over the net, just none of them that work for me.

I have Java installed correctly as it works with Internet Explorer.

In Opera I have added steps such as this:

Open Opera and go to Tools > Preferences > Advanced > Downloads. Click "Add" and add the following info:

MIME Type: application/x-java-jnlp-file

File Extension: jnlp

Action: Open with default application

Click "OK".

Which completes with no errors, but I still cannot run any Java Applets.

I am using the latest version of Opera, 9.52.

Any help would be much appreciated.
