How do I get Paint off of Demin Shorts?

Question

I have two pairs of shorts that I reccently purchased that got some paint stains on them while i was doing community service. One was with laytex paint and the other was paint you use for painting walls, I'm not sure what it's base was. I've tried both rubbing alcohal and nail polish and they did alight, but not good enough. Any other ideas?

try to scratch it off

get "goof Off" from home depot. it get's it off clothes, carpet etc.
