Every time I log in, I always get a System Configuration Utility message saying I have made changes to it. I check the box for it not to come up again, and it still does. How can I stop this from coming up?

  1. Check to see whether msconfig is in the startup folder.

    How to?

Start button - all programs - startup tab - check to see if msconfig is there. Remove.

Every msconfig access brings up this dialogue you are talking about.

  2. This will come up automatically each reboot AFTER you have gone to MSCONFIG.

If you don't go into MSCONFIG, the message won't come up.

    HTH!

  3. Go back into MSConfig and under the 'General' tab and change the selected option from 'Selective Startup' to 'Normal Startup' and the message will not show up anymore.
