How do I get XBOX Live with a PC, Ethernet Cable, and A Siemens Modem?

i cant connect and don't know how to with a modem ethernet cable and hp windows pc the connection works but the ip address doesn't.

  1. Connect all the cables.  Then power cycle your modem by turning it off for 30 seconds.   Your xbox will automatically connect after restart.


  2. Ok. Here's a simple text diagram. Hope it helps.

    Modem [ethernet cable] Xbox

    Just take a ethernet cable and plug one end in the port that fits on the modem and plug the other end in the xbox then start the xbox up and it should start a connect to xbox live wizard. If you still have problems try contacting your ISP as some settings in the modem might not allow you to be connecting to xbox live.
