How do I get a fast start or whatever in Mario Kart Wii? I've been trying to figure it out by like pressing the button repeatedly but it doesn't work.

  1. the first answerer said only one option, but if you do what he sais you'll get a slower start that if you do it these 2 ways.

One way is by pushing the gas one second after the 2 goes up on the 3,2,1, go, that is the harder way and it doesn't give you as much speed.  Basically what the first answerer said except a bit before, which will make you go a hair faster.

Or you can hold the gas right at 3, and wait until it's about to say go.  When it's about to say go, quickly let go of the gas and push it on again to rev up the engine, all before it says Go but after the 1.

While the second solution seems more complicated you get a much better and faster boost :)

  2. In Mario Kart Wii, accelerate when the '2' is just disappearing from the screen (1.5 sec after '3' appears).

  3. You have to start pressing just as it turns to "1". But if you do it to early you stall. And you have to practice doing that, alot.

  4. Once the countdown reaches 2.5 (you will have to guess) hold down the acceleration button.  If your on a Bike, do the same thing, but once it says "GO!", do a wheelie and you'll get a slightly faster boost.

  5. each time the light at the start flashes(red yellow green)

when red flashes hold down the accelerate button stop then wait for yellow press xlr8 button same thing with green then when youre about to start hold down the xlr8 button  and you should get a head start

NEVER hold i down through the whole thing

  6. As soon as the '2' in the countdown starts to fade, press and hold down the button you use to accelerate and don't let go. You should get a fast start.
