How do I get a Verion Wireless phone without service?

Question

My phone screen broke today and since my contract hasn't expired I can't get a new phone without paying retail price. The guy said I could also get a different phone by if i had an old phone that was from verizon but since I don't have any old ones i'm trying to find out how to buy one without service so please help me.

you could go to verizon and tell them what happend and they should give you the same phone or a new phone for free

you can try ebay, craigslist or ask around and see if anyone you know has a verizon phone. just make sure that before you buy the phone they give you the esn number and verify that its free and clear to activate. you do that by calling verizon and given them the esn number so they can activated. if its not they will let u know. and its free of charge.

you could either go to Verizon and ask them or you could look on line at like google or e-bay.  just make sher you put "unlocked verizon phones" or something like that, and go from there!
