  1. do sit ups and push ups!!! Eat good foods bananas ect... try sprinting as far as you can and gradually you will improve. or practice running up hills that helps . Push yourself more its more metal than pysical.run two miles eveyday and you will get so much better. It worked for me i used to run a 12 min two mile now i run a 10: 11  two mile so yeah. hope this helped.

  2. practice, eat carbs

  3. we need to know ur 1 mile time first

  4. By running more than that (2-5 mi) consistently and doing different exercises like pushups and situps to strengthen your core muscles (which support you as you run) Also you can try shorter distances or sprinting to gain speed as well. And try to be able to run the second mile faster than the first, which can really help picking off the leaders in the end

  5. You need to add two speed workouts to your weekly routine. This would include:

400 meters at top speed (time it so you can see your progress)

1 lap jogging around the track

    400 meters at top speed

1 lap jogging around the track and so on until you have completed 6 or 7 speed laps.

In addition one of your weekly workouts should include hills at least 4 - 5 miles.

The other three workouts should be distance at least 5 miles a day.

My son is 11 and runs these workouts and has an 11:01 right now at the 3000 meters.

  6. What kind of speedwork do you do?

  7. practice running five times a week

  8. run

  9. Drink camels milk.
