I am a resume writer and have a good idea to gain more clients. If I could know who was just laid off at a company, I could mail/email them info on my services. The only problem is how in the world am I going to get that information? Surely, there is a way I just haven't thought of one yet. Any ideas?

  1. No HR department would give you that info.  It breaks all kinds of privacy rights.

Try advertising on job sites or work search boards

  2. ~~Your best bet would be to send to the main address of the company and put "Attention: Human Resource Department. It would be much more professional to  mail it, than to email it anyway.~~

  3. call companys in your area and ask for the hr dept. If its abig company tell them you work there and you need the # to hr
