How do I get a copy of my W2 from 1990. The place i worked is closed and the IRS only keep them for 10 years?

  2. Try the Social Security Administration.

  3. Social Security collects wage information.  You should get an annual statement showing wages reported under your social security number.  It won't show tax withheld.

  4. You should contact social security administration. They may give you a copy for a fees.

  5. Unless you actually kept a copy of the tax return that you filed, you will not be able to get a copy of your W-2.  The closest thing that you can get is the statement that the SSA sends out.
