How do I get a credible press pass?

I am part of an online local network tv talk show and I am wanting to get some press passes for my correspondents. Do I just make them up myself with the network logs or do I need to go through local police office? Any segetions would be helpfull.

That's going to be a tough one, since I would guess you have a pretty small audience. On the other hand, if you are trying to gain a news audience, credentials probably aren't needed in many situations -- so send someone out with a camera and see what happens. Once you build up credibility, then you can look at talking to the police.
