How do I get a cruise job?

Here are my questions, just answer as much as you can please =x

1. Is it possible to get a job if you are only a permanent resident in the united states?

2. What area of a cruise line should I apply for, I only have experience in customer service and house keeping. Are there any other areas i can apply for where it doesent require experiance?

3. I'm willing to go on any cruise line, but which once go to asia?

  2. Best department is the Shop.

    2 concessions run most shops:

    www.hardingbros.co.uk

    (phone interviews, easy to get in, pays more)

    and

    www.starboardcruise.com

    (US based).

    working at the shops you are staff, which is better than crew.

    The work is REALLY easy.

    you get most port days off, since the shops can't open while on port.

    Housekeeping is a crew position and the workload is huge.

    Sure it's possible for any nationality.

  3. Usually they only hire international people for onboard positions. and for corporate positions...you usually need experience. And major cruise lines that go to Asia are Holland America, Princess, Cunard, and Royal Caribbean
