My cable box has HDMI and Composite outputs and my TV tuner card has a DTV Ant input for OTA Digital stations. Is there a way to get a digital signal from my cable box into my Tuner Card?

  1. You can not do that, the input on your tuner card is for an analog radio frequency (rf) signal. True it is a digital signal but it is encoded to an RF format. Nor can you convert a digital baseband signal to RF easily. You have run into the same problem I have, the lack of proper AV inputs on a computer. There are cards that offer reasonable inputs and outputs but they are very expensive. It's getting more popular but real convergence is still a long ways away.

If your card has a video input, an S-video input, or a component input you can use one of those possibly.
