How do I get a job after completing my masters in the US?

Do companies recruit students directly from the college campus like in my native India? Or will I have to search for a job myself?

It depends on what you are studying. Sometimes they recruit for management jobs. If you are in science or engineering there is a high demand and I think there is recruitment. You can attend career fairs at some schools or in the community in big cities. Also look at jobbing.com
